Life
Damn!!!Where do I start?I got the bug for this crazy ass entertainment industry in 1988.I started out as a dancer.I was discovered by Toni Basil"Hey Mickey"(Your so fine)Don't front & act like you don't know the song!Anyway she saw me dancing in a club(HOLLYWOOD LIVE).She asked me to be in her video 2days later.Meeting her changed my life!!I never really understood that you could really make $$ at being a dancer...I choreographed the "Troop" video "Spread my wings" with Toni.I worked and danced for such artist as Young MC,Herb Alpert,For Real,May May Ali,Tony Danza.Through my relationship with Toni,I met 2 dancer's & mentors that also changed my life.Sketter Rabbit(RIP) & Poppin' Pete.We formed 3 Stories high.A Hip Hop group that could dance there ass off.We released a cd in Japan & toured there for 3years.Those years were so incredible.Skeet & Pete taught me so much about "SHOWMANSH...Expand for more
IP"....I began interning at Motown Records in the A&R dept in 95'.That experiance help me to realize my true passion.Which was developing artist.From there image to there music.I became a fashion stylist or Image Maker as I like to call it while I worked at motown full time.I have dressed and styled artist such as..Queen Latifah,Something for the people,Michael Bivins(BBD,New Edition),Sammie,LLoyd,N-Toon, the list goes on.....I now manage a few artist,producers & song writters.....Nashay,Buttaphly,The Arsonist,& Joe Black...I Executive produced Jesse Powell's last cd..I have had songs placed On New Edition & BBD.Platinum & Gold Plaques from Whitney Houston,Usher,Faith Evans(thanks to one of the best song writters in the world Patrice "Buttaphly" Stewart)Sammie,& Troop.You can also catch me on 102.3 Kjlh fm in Los Angeles...Sat nights 8pm-12am.....I could go on forever...I've been blessed..
